Composition on the Table, is an instrument of activated objects and experience of discovery through touch, sound and visual fusion. Iwai¹s installation consists of a series of works set on four white tables which contain switches, dials, turn-tables and sliding boards connected to projectors triggering corresponding images creating interfaces which turn can be touched and played.is.

The visuals are not only mere accompaniments to the sounds but create an inseperable unit to the whole experience. The music is generated based upon the player/participant's decisions and behaviors as well as interaction with other players weaving an interconnected whole.

I found the work interesting in itÕs fusion of visual, sound and movement interplay in an interconnected system as well as for its solo and multi-user experience possibilities.
