*One Line Description:
Using a hospital stretcher for a live video physical controller, a user travels through an abandoned hospital space through a variety of perspectives.
*Description:
Video is projected to a canvas which is on the flat part of the stretcher. Various moving parts of the stretcher are used to influence and navigate the experience of travelling through the abandoned hospital.
Background:
Blindness is an interpretation of the book Blindness, part of the Jose Saramango trilogy.
Audience:
Users who interact with the physical video controller.
User Scenario:
User watches the canvas that is installed onto the stretcher and interacts via moving controllers that are also part of the stretcher.
Technical System Description:
Video clips processed by Jitter and controlled by an array of sensors that are mounted to the hospital stretcher and interfaced to Max/MSP.

So, I am working with Sarit on our final project. We have a hospital gurney (photo to be posted) for our controller and lots of footage of the New Jersey Medical Center and the Marlborough Institute of Mental Health.
