After realizing that this is the material I want to explore, I started playing with it.
Sewing:
Now that I got a sewing machine (a normal one...) I saw how easy it is to sew Tyvek. The only bad think about it is that Tyvek remembers - after making a hole - the hole stays. So for example if I want to attach 2 parts together, I shouldn't do it with pins. Also, if I want to un sew a piece - the holes stay.
Printing:
As I discovered couple of weeks ago, even though the company suggested not to do it (they said the material will melt) I was able to print easily with my home printer.
Cutting:
It is hard for me to cut a straight piece. I was hopping the guillotine will be able to cut it but it didn't work. For now I'm just using an executer knife when I can, and scissors when I don't have a choice. I should try to laser cut it (and try it with felt as well, since it is also hard for me to get accurate pieces with it too).
