another gift of the truth: this is an image on artificial skin cells in a bio dish under a microscope. i'm culturing these cells for my designer skin jewelry project. i think about these cells, a lot because they are completely dependent on me for their lives. i don't however, have an emotional bond with them. |

another gift of the truth: this is an image where i've labeled my favorite parts of the landscape. this hierarchical ordering of the image reveals a process which is so natural and automatic for me, that i hardly notice it. i wanted to make it explicit for you and for me because i believe this hierarchical process is what abstracts my relationships to the external world and my personal relationships. |

another gift of the truth: when i started to practice yoga i was looking for the truth. i thought that yogi's had the answer. i was lured by the orange robes, exotic faces and bright eyes. i believed in the possibility of their truth. over the years, the continued practice of physical yoga i have developed bodily strength, an ability to spread my mental awareness to very specific parts of my body, the ability to simultaneously spread my mental awareness to the whole of my body. i have also learned that the truth, if it even exists as a universal law, is as illusive as ever. |
