it makes my hips crack and creek
my spine extends so as not to be weak
Virabadrasana usually follows
virabad... r warrior
asana pose
where my knees form hollows
Sirsasana turns my world upside down
sir...sssss the topsy turvy
asana pose
creates a smile and not a frown
Sanskrit names and their vibrations
may balance my mind for

I attended
Hampshire College,
which is an experimental education school, specializing in non tradtional forms of learning. We didn't do a whole lot of memorization exercises there. The one experience I had memorizing, was at an Art History Class at Amherst College (one of Hamphire's sister colleges) where I memorized , dates and paintings, thier history, and gallery location. I successfull memorized this information, but of course have since long forgotten it. I'm not 100% convinced that this is worthwhile... but I trust Ze, so I will play along...
Method 1: Typing as an act of remembering:
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By Chance, or nature's changing course, untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest;
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long live this, and this gives life to thee
