my garden: a garden of human mycoses growth

a garden of petri dishes containing bacterial and yeast found growing on humans bodies
displayed on a transparent glass covered table
heating unit mounted under the table for incubation

This garden is designed to meet the criteria of describing an intersection technology and nature. One aspect of the relationship between nature and technology is to reveal information. In this garden, information about our biology is revealed. It also serves as a source of growth material to grow into a an aesthetic garden. This garden is a fascinating look at biological process on our bodies. The garden, like a traditional plant garden, isolates certain species and arranges them aesthetically as a formal garden.

The methodology for the garden:
The bacterial and yeast scrapings from human skin, eyes, nails, scalp,
and orifices, are grown in media on petri dishes in small batches.
growth media and an incubator at 35 celsius is required for the growth of the specimens.
