Out of the 3 sites we visited I really enjoyed the Foundling Center and the NYU Medical Center the most. Perhaps it was closest to the mental model I had in my mind before visiting or even taking this class but I really feel that the most work that is needed is in these areas.
Of the topics I saw available to work on:
- Interactive Toys that might get kids 'talking' to each other.
- Toys to control objects outside in their world.
- Applications for adults that aren't cartoonish (as Holly showed us)
I'm open for ideas and projects.
