SOUTHPOINT 2006 Biennial International Ideas Competion

The Emerging New York Architects Committee, AIA NY Chapter is announcing the second biennial international ideas competition for emerging architects to explore issues of universal design and historic rejuvenation in developing a visual / performing arts center on Roosevelt Island.

Profunds (Production Funds), a grant program run by the Tisch Undergrad Student Council and the Tisch Office of Student Affairs, is here to fund extracurricular, collaborative student projects. All you need to apply is an idea, a budget and a team that includes at least three undergraduate departments. Grants range up to $5000 per project, with up to $15,000 available.
Interested? Applications are available at the Tisch Office of Student Affairs (8th Floor) or online at www.nyutusc.com. The deadline to apply is November 7, 2005.
