Final Project Abstract
I want to learn how to program small LED displays. I have a 5x7 display that is about 3/4" x 1/2". Considering these small displays and the requirements of the final (three objects that must be networked), I decided to create a game of "tag." Using radio tranceivers (ideally) three objects with these 5x7 displays will be networked. A dot on the screen will represent each player. With minimal directional controls, the "it" dot will chase the other dots. When the "it" dot comes in contact with another dot, the other dot will become "it." The devices will be very cheap and small enough to integrate into the arm of a chair. I imagine these objects as a small diversion in a waiting room, inviting casual human-human interaction in a space where it would not otherwise exist.
